Employment 

The employment theme focuses on providing a comprehensive range of projects which complement each other and ensure all sectors of the community are supported into work. So far since 2001 Back on the Map employment projects have supported over 1100 local people into work.

Employment and enterprise awards  

Back in 2006 the Employment Theme Team held the first Back on the Map Employment awards. The awards, now called the Back on the Map Employment and Enterprise Awards provide an opportunity to celebrate achievements and recognise the hard work of local people, employers and projects, all of who contribute to the employment successes locally. The event is its third year and is an excellent place to celebrate the success of both individual residents and local employers. All residents can get involved in the event by putting forward nominations for two of the categories, Support Worker Champion and Employer Champion.
