Education

Part of Back on the Map's role is to boost educational opportunities for the residents, young and old, in Hendon and the East End. One of our major achievements is the investment of £7.1 million in the three primary schools serving the area: Valley Road, Grangetown and Hudson Road. The investment which helped rebuild two schools and refurbish the third, has also allowed the schools to provide learning opportunities and facilities for the wider community. Already we have seen the results of these major projects with significant improvements in educational attainment.
